Obviously one will reap the consequences of his pride with bad decisions in life. No wonder that it was the tool that made Lucifer ( An angel of light ) in to the Devil.
When people have difficulty to submit to their authorities, to hear someone, than becomes an issue that needs to be addressed.
Concerning spiritual life and a relationship with God, many are those that just turn a blind eye to God’s ordinances, by doing things their own way.
