That’s The Wrong Way!…

Whenever someone enter’s in a taxi, you trust that the driver has the ability and skill to take to the place that you want. Isn’t it? You don’t doubt or even blink about his qualifications. You just trust.

Now for a moment just think about the following  situation: The Passenger telling of the driver because  feels that he is taking the wrong way!….

That is ridiculous!..Because who knows better? The driver or the passenger?

Now I’m making an analogy with the Holy Spirit ( Taxi Driver ) and human beings ( Passenger ).

Many times we incur in the same ridiculous situation!.. Telling of the Holy Spirit, saying that we know the best way. The human tendency is of a proudly and self-sufficient nature.  That’s exactly why many people are always lost in their ways, and can’t reach their destination. They themselves don’t allow the Holy Spirit to guide, to lead, to take control!…

It’s impossible being guided by the Holy Spirit and to be lost with a frustrated life, sick, depressed, miserable, empty, void, suffering with loneliness, etc..

The work of the Holy Spirit is exactly to guide you. Now, that isn’t done through emotions or feelings. The Holy Spirit gives us guidance, enabling us to use our intelligence and take the right decisions in life. The Holy Spirit makes us remember about God’s word and gives the power to execute that same direction.

If someone is lost, certainly is because he took bad decisions in life or wanted to be the taxi driver of his own life!…

Isaiah 55:8

For My thoughts are not your thoughts,  nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD. “

Who is your “Driver”?

    Pr. Elijah,

Its so true, we human always fall into problems when we think that we know best, when in fact, out thoughts are not God`s thoughts because his ones are higher. reading this blog reminding me about an example a pastors gave in a service some years ago, he told one assistant to stand on the top of the alter, he also called a little boy and told the assistant to jump in the little boys arms, the assistant said “no” when the pastor asked why the assistant replied “he`s too little he can`t catch me”. in short when we don`t trust, we are saying in other words that God is not capable, but in fact God can do all things”. we must use our intelligent faith, and start to trust in God for all things, Let him drive, after all “God is an experienced driver”.

God Bless. (Tamika , South London)
