Blessing-Magnet

Many are those that are after the blessings, meaning, to achieve a great success in all areas of life. What if, it could be the other way around?

Instead of being a blessing-seeker you would become a Blessing-Magnet?

Blessing-Seekers are those that are always asking for the blessings, e.g.”Oh God give me this, give me that..” They fight hard and they even get some blessings.

Blessing-Magnets are those that blessings come after them, they chase them up!… God appears to them and He himself asks: “What do you want me to do for you?”

Abraham became a “Blessing-Magnet”, he was the Blessing, and he was blessed in everything!…

To king Solomon God said:

2 Chronicles 1:7

That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

Now, what prompted God to appear to those men and swear by Himself that would bless him, as in the case of Abraham, and  Solomon?

The answer is Sacrifice.

They sacrificed in total obedience and trust to God’s voice, therefore they became “Blessing-Magnets”.

Do you want to be a “Blessing-Seeker” or a “Blessing-Magnet”?

Place your life on the Altar in total Sacrifice and God will say to you :

“What is that you want me to do?

Deuteronomy 28

Blessings on Obedience

28 “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. 2 And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lordyour God:

It’ s true sometimes we only focus on our selves nothing else. Job prayed for his friends and God blessed him in every area of his life. I was meditating and i was thinking why did God asked Abraham for his son Issac and a thought came to my mind that Abraham was so rich that it was easy for him to give animals as he had already done it in past. So the only thing God would test him with was his only son. Then i even started asking myself if what i thought was my Issac was real or i’m hiding from the truth. The truth is painful. Blessing magnet comes with a lot of pain.

I want to be a blessing magnet like abraham.

Meditating about Abraham it is plain to see why God made him a blessing. He heard and obeyed God voice and lived in obedience and trust daily. May we all acquire the same quality of faith that no matter what God requires of us we obey.

    • Abraham did obey to separate , 2cor. 6:14-18 “come out from among them and be separate. So we must separate from worldliness and go serve the Lord faithfully.

  4. We should be a blessing to our family, to our church and to the lost.
