He’s knocking Our Door

Genesis 4:7

Common English Bible

If you do the right thing, won’t you be accepted? But if you don’t do the right thing, sin will be waiting at the door ready to strike! It will entice you, but you must rule over it.”

Sin will entice: Attract, bait, draw, entrap, lead on, lure, seduce, tempt. In other words, sin seems to be a good thing to do, it gives temporary happiness and joy, however, in the end there will be severe consequences.

One must rule over it (Sin) and do the opposite : To disgust, dissuade, repel, turn away, turn off. We have the power to open the door or to leave that door shut. Everything is licit, but not everything is convenient.

Watch out the beast!…He’s ready to strike.

I would like to challenge you to do the following:
Post your comment : Eg.If I open the door of a lie, I will……, If I open the door of a grudge, I will…., If I open the door of adultery/fornication, I will….
Got it?

It is a tradition that has followed Christmas for years and years.
Make tiny spiders from black chenille stems and attach them to the cobwebs.
Create a set of smaller eggs and write an Easter
    greeting across them.
