The Greatest Sabotager


There is a fierce battle between our desires and God’s desire. Our flesh, cravings, lusts and the will of God. In us,there is the will to do what is right and just however we face that battle within us and sometimes we fulfill our desires, falling in to sin.

The power of sin works within and tirelessly to sabotage our intentions, and divert us from the purity, sincerity, faithfulness and obedience to God. Sin works to lure, subvert, currupt, ambush and entice us with the things of this world.

Sin is the greateast sabotager of all times. Sin works to sabotage relationships trough unfaithfulness, deceit, adultery, fornication,etc…Sin works to sabotage all the areas of our lives, specially our soul!…Sin wants our soul, he wants us to live in disobedience to God, so that our lives can be wrecked by him.

Hence the following:

Romans 7:17-24

( The Message)

“But I need something more! For if I know the law but still can’t keep it, and if the power of sin within me keeps sabotaging my best intentions, I obviously need help! I realize that I don’t have what it takes. I can will it, but I can’t do it. I decide to do good, but I don’t really do it; I decide not to do bad, but then I do it anyway. My decisions, such as they are, don’t result in actions. Something has gone wrong deep within me and gets the better of me every time.

It happens so regularly that it’s predictable. The moment I decide to do good, sin is there to trip me up. I truly delight in God’s commands, but it’s pretty obvious that not all of me joins in that delight. Parts of me covertly rebel, and just when I least expect it, they take charge.

I’ve tried everything and nothing helps. I’m at the end of my rope. Is there no one who can do anything for me? Isn’t that the real question?

Well in fact there is help!.. Its’s the Holy Spirit…

Only trough the Holy Spirit we are able to overcome our flesh. The Helper will strenghen, guide and empower us to overcome our flesh.

Without the Holy Spirit you are being sabotaged every single day!..
