Let Go!…

Pride

Isaiah 57:15

(CJB)

For thus says the High, Exalted One who lives forever, whose name is Holy:

“I live in the high and holy place but also with the broken and humble, in order to revive the spirit of the humble and revive the hearts of the broken ones.”

One has to humble themselves in order to receive! Rebuke sometimes can be very hard with pride! But when someone is humble and ready to let go, then rebuke becomes awake call for someone to learn in obedience! I have learnt until one learns to let go, then God steps in and takes control! Thank you for sharing Pastor.

    Pastor Elijah

    Thank you for the message.

You mentioned on Sunday that we have to humble ourselves, and confess our sins and remember how Christ served and saved us.

Today, I have notice some people are not yearning to be fed, to develop, or be humble. I have learnt by being humble reduces arrogance, do away with pride, and enable me to please God. Also; I find by being humble allows me to be used to the full by God.

When we are humble we are able to share with one another outside our own plans and needs. But when we are grudging with our sharing, an atmosphere of distrust is formed.

I have learnt that pride damages our relationships and cause a scarcity in our relationship with God as well as damage to others. I remembered as a young person being self-centered trying to protect myself from be hurt by others and it made me feel miserable inside. Thank God I was able to humble myself before Him and admit that I needed help.

A humble person is a teachable person.
