The Spark & The Divine

Ignite

Fire: a state, process, or instance of combustion in which fuel or other material is ignited and combined with oxygen, giving off light, heat, and flame.

Fire is a combination of two elements that come together. There’s no fire without  something  ignites it. Usualy  by friction or other sparking factor a fire is ignited. This is the physical fire we usually see.

Now, there is God’s Fire!..

2 Chronicles 7

“When Solomon had finished praying, fire came down from heaven and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the temple.”

What was the spark that ignited it?  What were the two elements?

  1. Sacrifice
  2. Altar

Many people haven’t seen God’s fire, the extraordinary in their lives, because they haven’t layer their lives, trough Sacrifice on God’s Altar. When they do so, “God’s Fire” comes down, meaning a divine intervention, and God’s Glory fills the person’s life.

It’s time to Sparkle and Ignite that “Holy Fire” in our lives, so that we can see His glory in our lives!..

    Thank you pastor,
And it’s the fire which will determine whether or not God accepted us or not. Once we lay it on the alter, we can’t deceive ourself, we will know if we have made a true sacrifice or not. But if we have, the fire will be within us because we will have that certainty that God is with us and things will change.
It will be the case in my life as I will be there giving my testimony! It is my time!

    Dear Pr.
Your illustration of what ignites the physical fire and the spiritual fire is well understood. The alter and the sacrifice ignites the holy fire from heaven to come down.Solomon’s sacrifice attracted the consumption of the holy fire from heaven because it was his sweat and blood;no reserves.A true sacrifice on the alter is mainly the person, for if the person’s life has been dedicatedly surrendered on the alter, there would be no holding back of what is materialistic as well. The fire would definitely come down and consume the perfect sacrifice.
    Thank you Pr.
    God bless.
    In faith,
    Ruth.

    Good morning Pastor, it is very interesting that physical fire and God’s fire both can only be ignited by two elements;

    Physical fire= Fuel+Oxygen

    God’s fire= Obedience+Sacrifice

If we see in the Bible, whoever sacrificed they were all obedient to God.

As written in 1 Samuel 15:22 (So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams)

Therefore we must obey His voice to present on the Alter whatever He is asking us to sacrifice.

    God bless you.
