In Faith?

Steadfast

Are you in faith? That’s the question that we do many times to others and the words we use to ourselves all day!…”Oh..yes…I’m in faith!…”

But what is to be in the faith or in faith?

Is is to uphold a religion? Is one in faith because attends church? Is one in faith just because says prayers, fasts and meditates upon the Holy Scriptures?

The answer is no!..

Many say they are in faith, however when they go trough “Stormy Seas”, setbacks, difficulties and hardship they become discouraged, fearful, doubtful, anxious, insecure, etc..

What’s being in faith?

Being in faith is to be strong, bold courageous, determined, to persevere, to ignore the feelings or negative circumstances, to be assertive, and to remain fighting and steadfast!…Holding your grounds REGARDLESS of whatever comes against you.

2 Corinthians 13:5

The Message

5-9 Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it.

Thank You Pastor for Sharing it’s Spot on,

We only know those who are in Faith when the storm comes and they don’t complain they trust God and depend in him.
That’s why it’s easy to say I’m in the Faith but it’s another thing to put your Faith into practise.

The test need to be done for sure and sometimes God doesn’t even wait for us to do the test he simply test us himself .

Thank you kindly for this timely message Pastor,

Individually, our relationship with God is vital…
Because as our partnership with God develops, we actively use our faith, we get stronger, we depend more on God, we mature in our faith. I know this all to well, I have been there especially when the problems and challenges come but we must remain in faith.
We must be in spirit because the devil also has plans for our life’s so we must be alert/ vigilant.

    Putting into practice daily….

    Thanks again Pastor!
